About ANGRY DUMPLING®️

Angry Dumpling

I'm a restaurant specializing in dumplings with northern Chinese flavor! Not a Chinese restaurant with "Americanized Chinese flavor". There's no "duck sauce"!

Located at 142 S Main St, Nazareth, PA 18064, ANGRY DUMPLING®️ operates as a shanghainese serving Nazareth in Pennsylvania. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as asian restaurant, chinese restaurant, chinese takeaway, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Nazareth; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in Pennsylvania are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.

The business lists hours on 4 days of the week. Typical hours are 11 am–3 pm. It is closed on Monday, Tuesday, Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach ANGRY DUMPLING®️ at (484) 861-0623; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Nazareth is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Nazareth is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Pennsylvania's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Extremely nice staff but the angry dumpling bowl and the beef and onion bowl were extremely salty to the point my partner and i couldn't taste much after 2 dumplings. Too many flavors happening at once that we stopped eating the dumplings. They offered to make another batch and it was better but the last batch killed our appetite. They did offer free fried rice with egg and that was good and they gave us free drinks on the house which was nice but we both noticed the one staff seemed irritated and unfortunately i think thats our last time there.

Hi all We’ve been here twice and each time we wasn’t disappointed. My family (all adults) and spouses/friends have tried almost all the dumpling variations and had a few other items off of their very LIMITED menu. The menu is limited so don’t expect anything beyond dumplings. The flavor of the dumplings along with the 3 dipping sauces won’t disappoint. Our favorites are: pork, lamb and another call the “Angry Dumpling” which is not spicy hot by any standards. So much flavor you don’t need a dipping sauce although the 3 sauces add so much to these dumplings. The fried rice(s) are delicious and with a nice flavor depending on choices. I believe this menu item is longer available, but I once had their cold noodles with peanut sauce and vegetables. It was fantastic!!! Bring it back! I was told it wasn’t requested often and the process of making those noodles took a great deal of time, but the chew of fresh made noodles can’t be replicated. All of their dumplings are thin noodles, steamed and then pan fried. Best value is ordering by the dozen although you cannot combine different dumplings this way. Trust me, eating a dozen dumplings is easy. For those who might expect a

The best authentic dumpling place in the area. First time trying Angry Dumpling and what a delicious find. The restaurant is small with about four tables for dining in or for take out. Although the restaurant is small it makes up in its authentic charm and delicious menu. We tried their cucumber salad and their pork shrimp and chive dumplings and everything was delicious. I will say I was unaware that the cucumber salad came with a peanut butter topping. I think it should have less peanut butter so it could desolve into the sauce, but the cucumbers and sesame oil vinegar sauce was good. Something to be aware of when ordering it. The dumplings were excellent and to die for. The dumpling dough was light and not too thick and absolutely wonderful and the filling was delicious and seasoned perfectly. Thry were pan seared with a crispy bottom and steamed to keep then moist and tender and served with three of their home made sauces for dipping. The dumplings were so good they didn't even need any sauce. They were excellent . We also tried their red tea which was very good. Service was fast and friendly and the food very good. Great dumplings.

My friend and I came to try this place out. I've been following their story on Instagram and I was so ecstatic that I was finally able to try it. It was a lovely space and the staff was super nice. I even got to talk to the owner in Chinese for a little bit and he was so welcoming. I got the pork, shrimp and chives dumplings while my friend got the beef and onion dumpling. I definitely recommend trying out this place because these are some serious dumplings!

We had a wonderful dining experience at the Angry Dumpling. We were given water at the table and the servers were very friendly. The dumplings were fresh and served hot with three dipping sauces. The chili oil and soy vinegar were great. Their fried rice was a great addition as well. The chef even came to check in on us! Would definitely recommend checking them out.
